Notes: Recorded over the winter of ’95 after a long year of touring Dookie, Green Day’s follow-up was a much darker album compared to their previous releases. While the album wouldn’t be a runaway success like its predecessor, it did sell over 2 million copies in the US and is a fan favorite. Billie has said the original album title was to be “Jesus Christ Supermarket” and he regrets that they changed it.
