Notes: A collection of b-sides and covers along with a brand new track called ‘Ha Ha You’re Dead’. Another new song, ‘D.U.I.” (written and performed by Tre Cool), was pulled prior to release. You can see where ‘D.U.I.’ fit on the album by looking at the inlay where the lyrics were made to look like they were spray painted over.

1. Suffocate
Obviously, the song is about an addiction and how it is destroying your life - it destroys your body, your social life and your will to live. You want to quit but then go back to it again. And you realize that one day you will suffocate from it all.
Possibly, the idea of suffocating from an alcohol addiction comes not only from the emotional desperation but also from the fact that sometimes alcoholics actually die from "drowning" in their own vomit. They pass out and start throwing up while being unconscious and this sometimes causes asphyxiation from choking on one's own puke. Of course, this is not an everyday thing, but it does happen, and since the narrator mentions that he's "feeling like a salad in his puke", he might be referring to the possibility of physically suffocating.
To a point, the song is simply about death - realizing that one day you will suffocate, that one day your addiction will kill you.

2. Desensitized
This song sarcastically describes how media these days consumes people and takes away their feelings. People watch news about wars, terrorist attacks, suicides and murders as if those were entertainment shows - "bring me blood and pain of a stranger's fate", "go ahead and kill yourselves - it all amuses me". The more news about someone else's tragedy we watch and read - the less we care. We drown in a pile of information on TV and the Internet, absorb it all and lose the true feelings of life - become 'desensitized'.

3. You Lied
You Lied criticizes people who get way too carried away with lying. Their stories are so stretched that it's obvious to everyone that they are lying. "Your mother allowed you just one white lie" - compulsive lying usually starts with a small lie that makes you seem better than you are or helps you get away with something. And then you like it and keep lying more and more, by reflex, without even realizing that you lie, and in the end, your lies are so unbelievable that no one is buying any more - "your nose is growing into the 3rd dimension". And you need to do everything possible to learn how to stop before it gets even worse.

4. Outsider
The author identifies himself as an outsider of everything and can't seem to figure out how to normalize himself to fit in (it disturbs me so). It seems that all he's good for is being pushed down by everyone else and whenever he does something for himself, he just gets put down. This causes him to go into a spiralling loop of self-hate and self-blame (I messed up everyone) going deeper and deeper (more troubles are gonna come), convincing himself that nothing's gonna get better (I've already had all my fun).

The narrator of this song considers love a burden that makes you weak, dependent and is only made for people who are not self-sufficient and need to have a lover to feel secure. He prefers to be free and alone because he doesn't believe in love and thinks that if he becomes a victim of this feeling, he will lose his independence and freedom. However, as harsh and cold as the narrator wants to seem, it's not the inability to love that makes him say "I don't wanna fall in love" - it's fear. He is afraid of love because he is afraid of having soft spots and opening up his heart. He'd rather sit there all his life alone because this way he feels safer.

8. Scumbag
This song describes a type of people that act incredibly friendly, come hugging you with a smile and telling you about their plans and about how great their life is. Most of the time they don't genuinely care about anyone, they just pretend to be your friend because they need someone to listen to their boasting. When they don't need you anymore they leave, but then come around again when they "run out of friends".
The narrator is irritated because he had to encounter one of those people again and so he's asking them why the hell they showed up, "what's the special occasion?" No one wants them around because whenever they open their mouth it's "the same thing again and again".

9. Tired Of Waiting For You
The song seems to be directed at someone the author is close to that has kept him waiting for quite a bit now. At first, his friend seems to keep him waiting at bearable levels, possibly being late to events or just not showing up with excuses. Over time, the author gets more and more irritated at his friend’s careless behaviour and begin to question their friendship. He realizes there’s nothing he can do despite all his efforts to make his friend care more about him (what can I do?).
Whilst he wants to just ditch his friend for better people and things, he recognizes his friend to be someone important to him and he doesn’t want to just leave him behind like his friend always does (I was a lonely soul, I had nobody 'til I met you). Either that or maybe the author just has no other friends or better company to hang out with.
The author gives in finally and just says how it’s his friend’s life (It's your life, and you can do what you want) and that he can’t change his options and opinions on him. He just wishfully hopes his friend would care more about him and at least treat him better although he knows it will never happen (Do what you like, but please don't keep me waiting).

10. Sick Of Me
The narrator's words are directed towards his partner. They have probably been in a relationship for some time and now it's not going as well as it should anymore. He's describing various aspects of his relationship that he believes his partner is tired of and keeps repeating "you're sick of me". First, he's asking: "am I losing you?" They're still trying to make their relationship work, but it's obviously long been doomed to fall apart, and he doesn't understand why his partner won't just admit that they're sick of him. All the lies and tension are getting on his nerves and in the end, he says "I'm sick of you too" - there is no point in going on like this anymore.

The narrator of this song is a person who is dying from an illness - either physical or emotional. It's destroying him and makes him feel like he's "rotting inside". Whether it is a physical disease that is damaging his body making him feel like he's falling apart or an emotional state that drove him to the edge and is now physically killing him - it is a condition which will obviously lead to his death, and he knows it. "Kiss me one last time" - he's ready to die because he's tired of "rotting".

13. On The Wagon
The song describes the effects and interaction of 2 addictions: one is drugs or alcohol, and the other one is love.
The first verse is about the need for intoxication. The narrator says that he has the craving for alcohol/drugs, but doesn't want to slip back into the addiction. And in the second verse, love kicks in and everything mixes together. "Today I say sweet things, but tomorrow I'll be making up excuses for my actions"…the narrator is saying that it's not always easy for him to be good enough for the relationship because it's been a long time since he's been in love. And being "on the wagon again" probably stands for being in love.
On the other hand, knowing that the saying "on the wagon" means abstaining from drinking alcohol, one might suggest that the problems in this relationship could be caused by the narrator's withdrawal problems. So, all in all, the song is a description of the difficulties of starting a new life - in love and sober.

His hatred and disgust are so strong that they outweigh all politeness and guilt that could stop him from laughing at someone else's tragedy - he's clearly saying that this person deserves to be laughed at, as he proudly says "Ha-ha, you're dead!"
