Notes: Looking to change things up after the mixed reception of the ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré! trilogy, Green Day retreated to their own studio OTIS to work on a follow-up in total secrecy. Recording the entire album without outside influence from producers or their label, the band emerged with a mature, confident return to form that debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.

Session Notes
Green Day secretly recorded Revolution Radio on their own in their home studio OTIS with no outside influence from the label. We currently have no information about any unreleased tracks from these sessions.
'Bang Bang' and 'Somewhere Now' served as the foundation for the album, demoed as early as 2014. Billie Joe recalled the spark of those initial sessions: "I moved into a new studio that I built in Oakland and I just started messing around with different riffs. The first song where I was like, 'OK, I'm onto something' was Bang Bang. And then the first track of the record, Somewhere Now. I started doing demos and I showed them to Mike and Tre. That's the test. And they absolutely loved it."
'Outlaws' was originally written for a movie Billie Joe was set to star in called "Geezer" but after writing 'Ordinary World' that was used instead as it better fit the narrative of the movie (the movie title was also changed to Ordinary World).
'Bouncing Off The Wall' was one of the last tracks to be added to the album. The working title for the song was 'Concrete Dream'.
