The Frustrators formed in 2000 featuring Jason Chandler on vocals, Mike Dirnt on bass, Terry Linehan on guitar and Art Tedeschi on drums. The band would release the albums Bored In The USA in 2000 and Achtung Jackass in 2002 on Billie Joe’s label Adeline Records.

After the massive success of Dirnt’s main band Green Day in the years after Achtung Jackass, The Frustrators wouldn’t find the opportunity to get together again until 2011 when they re-formed for the recording of the Griller EP. A six-show winter tour to promote the EP would be the last we’d see of the band to date.
