On January 11, 2020, The Del Gatos took to the stage at the Golden Bull bar in Oakland, CA for their second ever live show to play a selection of classic cover tunes along with songs from the Influents – a band that featured band members Jason & Greg. Four of the covers played at the show would be featured on an EP called Rockin At Golden Bull but released under their new name – The Upside Downers.

While this side project only played a couple of shows in 2019-20, an earlier incarnation of the band continues on today under the name The Coverups with Greg Schneider’s brother Bill on bass and Mike Dirnt on guitar.
