Notes: Green Day's debut EP was recorded in December of 1988. The band changed their name from Sweet Children just prior to the EP being printed. Green Day never came up with a title or any artwork so Lookout! Records just used the first song on the EP for the title and designed a logo for the bands new name for the cover. The EP would later be added to the compilation album 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours. As for the subject matter of the EP, Billie says "All the songs from the 1000 hours 7' are about the same girl."
