As promised, Green Day have announced their tour plans for 2024 with the announcement of The Saviors Tour which will hit North America, Europe and the UK beginning in May. The band will have a number of high-profile openers on the tours including Nothing But Thieves, The Hives and The Interrupters on varying dates in Europe/UK and Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and the Linda Linda’s for their North American dates.
For North American shows, tickets will be available to the general public on November 10th but mailing list subscribers can get access to the pre-sale on November 8th, so sign up for that by the 7th to get your early access code. In the EU/UK, you will need to pre-order Saviors from the band’s UK web store by 7/11 @ 3 pm GMT to get access to pre-sale tix.
Along with the tour announcement, Green Day also released the second single from Saviors today dropping ‘Look Ma, No Brains!’ which will be the second track on the upcoming album. The song has received high praise from fans since the band first performed it at the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas late last month. In other news, The Coverups have announced a New Year’s Eve show at the El Rey Theatre with support from Ultra Q. Tickets are available on Friday at various price points between $150 – $1500 with all proceeds benefiting charity.
