The author is going into a state of shock presumably with some seizures thrown in (my eyes are rolling in the back of my head, I’m black and blue and I’m in the red). Whilst the author may wish to be dead rather than suffer being put into this state again (We want to go to heaven), he does note that he enjoys living and wouldn’t want to escape reality by dying (but no one wants to die).
It may be possible the author got into this state due to drug abuse and has been outcast by everyone he knew (defy your judgement and demons). The author is away from anyone to be able to call for help (save your last goodbye) but eventually gets out his state of shock. He then lights a cigarette to calm down but he’s still shivering too much trying to recompose himself to take a puff (my tears are putting out my cigarette).
The author is delirious (and I’m singing out the alphabet the way I remember) and somehow ends up in the hospital. He notices missing parts of his memory (make a mess of my amnesia) as he is put under anesthesia for medical purposes.

I’m going into a state of shock
I can twist, I can hardly walk
And I’m holding on for life
Should I be concerned
My eyes are rolling in the back of my head
I’m black and blue and I’m in the red
And the silence is so loud
Should I be concerned
We want to go to heaven
But no one wants to die
Defy your judgement and demons
And save your last goodbye
My tears are putting out my cigarette
And I’m singing out the alphabet
The way I remember
Should I be concerned
Make a mess of my amnesia
I’m going under anesthesia
And I’m holding on for life
Should I be concerned
We want to go to heaven
But no one wants to die
Defy your judgement and demons
And save your last goodbye
We want to go to heaven
But no one wants to die
We want to go to heaven
But no one wants to die
We want to go to heaven
But no one wants to die
Defy your judgement and demons
And save your last goodbye
