Green Day bassist Mike Dirnt and his wife Brittney Cade Dirnt have announced that they have invested in a cannabis company called Goldenseed. The Santa Cruz, California based company “focuses on the cultivation, manufacturing and sale of high-quality cannabis and hemp.”
To promote their investment into the company the pair shared a video to express how cannabis helped Brittney while she was receiving chemotherapy treatment after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014.
In an interview with TheGrowthOP.com, Dirnt explained why he chose to invest with Goldenseed. “People who want to invest probably already love this plant, and are believers in what I, and many others, consider to be nature’s medicine. I think Goldenseed honours all of that in the right way. I have a recreational and medicinal history with cannabis, from growing up in Northern California,” he said. “I know Goldenseed respects the history of this plant and also honours the future of how this industry is growing. And on the recreational side, it’s damned good weed!”
Goldenseed are accepting investors now for as little as $100, so if you’d like to join Mike and Brittney on their investment, head on over to OwnGoldenSeed.com for more information.
