Green Day inspired film to be re-named ‘Nimrods’
The Green Day inspired film formally known as New Years Rev is now officially renamed Nimrods and has been picked up by Inaugural Entertainment. No word yet on a release date.
The Hollywood Reporter describes the film as follow:
"Nimrods is a coming-of-age film centering on three high school friends who set out on a wild road trip under the mistaken assumption that their fledgling band has been booked to open for Green Day on New Year’s Eve. The story is based on Green Day’s real-life adventures while living in a van before the success of Dookie."

thank god, "New Years Rev" was such a stupid name
like i get the whole Rev Rad refrence
but shortening it to "Rev" in the actual title was a bad call
