Song Notes
Written by Tre Cool and recorded in the Nimrod sessions, ‘D.U.I.’ was included on early advance copies of Shenanigans but was pulled due to its lyrical content before the album’s public release. Despite its removal, the track title still appears in the album’s lyric insert, hidden under a layer of digital spray paint. Although officially unreleased, the song eventually leaked from those initial pressings and can be heard in our audio archive.
Lyrics
Let's get drunk and go out driving
Let's see just how quickly we can go
Let's get plowed and plow down some old ladies
Mix a drink and bump the stereo
Let's go down and vomit out the window
Let's keep score of how many we've killed
Do tequila slammers off the dashboard
There's an alcoholic at the wheel
Careful when I'm taking this next corner
I don't want anybody wasting beer
Pass another Lime and Corona
Too drunk to use my clutch when shifting gears
Let's get drunk and go out driving
Let's do brodies in the cul-de-sac
Let's get drunk and go out driving
We're going and we're never coming back
We're going and we're never coming back
We're going and we're never coming back
