Billie Joe took part in another COVID benefit last evening, performing ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends’ on the globally aired One World: Together At Home special. The performance was recorded at his home like his previous appearances on the Living Room Concert (‘Boulevard Of Broken Dreams’) and The Tonight Show (‘I Think We’re Alone Now’).
The show was the brainchild of pop superstar Lady Gaga, who has mentioned in the past how much Green Day meant to her as a teenager and that Dookie was the first album she purchased on her own.
