Green Day's Father Of All debuts on Billboard chart

‘Father Of All…’ debuts at #9 on Rock Songs chart

Green Day’s new single ‘Father Of All Motherfuckers’ debuted today on the Billboard Top Rock Song chart at #9 which was good for the second highest ranking for songs in their first week, John Mayer snagged the better debut at #3 with ‘Carry Me Away’.

‘Bang Bang’, the lead single from Green Day’s last album Revolution Radio, made its debut on the Top Rock Songs Chart at #23 and peaked at #8 in 2016. The band have not had a song reach the top 5 on the chart since releasing ‘Oh Love’ from ¡Uno! in 2012 which hit #1. That could change shortly though with ‘Father Of All…’ performing well on radio, it ranked third in radio airplay among rock songs last week.

Green Day’s Hella Mega tourmates also released new singles last week with Fall Out Boy grabbing the #17 spot with ‘Dear Future Self’ and Weezer coming in at #20 with ‘The End Of The Game’.
