After weeks of rumors and leaks, the Billie Joe Armstrong Epiphone signature Les Paul Junior has finally been released ahead of the Christmas shopping season.
Two versions of the guitar are available including a lower-priced pack aimed at beginners which will include all you need to get started. Called the “Player Pack”, it features a lower-cost version of the signature guitar along with an amp, strap, gig bag and more. The player pack retails for $399 US.
Player Pack:
The signature guitar on the other hand comes with no additional bells and whistles aside from the highly desired hardshell case with a leopard print interior. The increase in price comes from the quality of materials used in the building of the guitar including a glued-on kneck as opposed to the bolt-on kneck found in the player pack. The signature guitar will retail for $549 US.
Signature Guitar:
Both guitars are currently only offered in “Classic White” and it’s unknown if any other colors will be released in the future. Check out the release video from Epiphone below which is partially filmed at Broken Guitars, a store co-owned by Billie Joe. Head over to Epiphone’s website to find a local retailer.
