Liner notes: “Recorded in twenty-two hours from 4:30 PM, Dec. 29th, 1989 to midnight, Jan. 2nd, 1990 at Art of Ears in San Francisco.”
Andy Ernst (engineer): “I’m pretty sure it [I Want to Be Alone] was [recorded for] the first album.”
All songs, aside from ‘I Want To Be Alone’, would be included on the 39/Smooth album. Every song from this session would later be released on the 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours compilation.
In later releases ‘At The Library with Waba Se Wasca’ would be shortened to just ‘At The Library’.
