Green Day performed 13 songs for an audience of fans who won tickets on KROQ to a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live last evening. The band ran through ‘Bobby Sox’ twice to get a take good enough for TV before treating fans to a selection of hits once that was done. Check out their performance of ‘Bobby Sox’ below!

Impact Arena in Thailand is the latest date to be announced in Green Day’s almost daily rollout of 2025 touring plans. The band have announced they will be in Bangkok on February 12, 2025, tickets for the show go on sale starting October 5th at 10am local.

Jimmy Kimmel was a guest on KROQ this morning to announce that the “secret Green Day show” the station was giving out tickets for is actually a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live where the band will be musical guests.

While fans who won tickets are likely disappointed that they won’t be getting a two hour secret show loaded with deep cuts, at least in past performances in 2004 and 2016 on Kimmel, the band has played 6-8 song sets even though only two songs are broadcast.

Green Day have added two more festival shows to their 2025 touring agenda with today’s announcement that the band will headline both the Hurricane and Southside festivals in Germany on the weekend of June 20-22. Tickets for both shows are available now!

The slow roll out of 2025 tour dates continues with today’s announcement that, as rumoured, Green Day will be heading to Australia for the first time since 2017. The band have added AFI for support for the shows and will be playing both Dookie & American Idiot in full as they have been on their current summer tour.

The three shows will take place in Melbourne (March 1), Sydney (March 3) and Gold Coast (March 5), with ticket sales for all shows opening up on September 20th. If you’d like pre-sale access to tickets, make sure you are signed up for the Green Day mailing list by September 15th.

Green Day have added another new show to their 2025 tour plans with today’s announcement that they will headline Lollapalooza India in Mumbai. The festival is set to take place on March 9-10 and will also feature Shawn Mendes as a headliner. Head over to the the festivals official website for tickets!

KROQ has announced a secret Green Day show will be taking place next week on Sept 16 at a mystery location in LA. The only way in to the show is to listen to the station every hour from 7AM – 7PM for your chance to win tickets!

The latest tracks released are a demo of ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends’, ‘Governator’ and the live version of ‘St. Jimmy’ from VH1 Storytellers. All released songs are available now on your preferred streaming service or the band’s official YouTube channel.

At long last, we have official confirmation that Pinhead Gunpowder are coming back with their first release of new material since their 2008 EP, West Side Highway!

Unt will feature 14 tracks recorded by Chris Dugan which will be released on October 18th, but you can check out the first single today (also called ‘Unt’) on your preferred streaming service. You can also pre-order starting now at 1-2-3-4 GO! Records on vinyl, CD or cassette.

It looks like we may finally be close to getting new Pinhead Gunpowder music for the first some since 2008! Their official Instagram just posted a band photo along with a tease of something to come on Sept 5 @ 6am with the caption “Here goes the neighborhood…” We’ll keep you posted as soon as the announcement drops!
