The Coverups to play free show in Rodeo
Plus new Chin Chins dates, GDTV updated & Nimrods now out on digital
Apologies for the delay in news - I've just returned from vacation, but regular site updates will now resume!
Thankfully, not a lot happened while I was away, but there are a couple of news items of note. First up is the announcement of a free show by The Coverups at Lefty Gomez Field in Billie Joe's hometown of Rodeo on September 26th.
The band is the featured headliner for the Rodeo Music and Art Market and will appear alongside Whateverglades, The Black Excellence Band, and DJ Cavity Rock.
If you haven't already, make sure to get your predictions in for the show in our Setlist Game.
The Chin Chins
Tre Cool's side project, The Chin Chins, have also announced a couple of new dates in 2027. The band will open for The Interrupters in San Francisco on April 28/27 and Los Angeles on April 30/27.
Green Day TV
We also finally got an update from GDTV after a couple of weeks with no new additions. You can find the full channel schedule as well as a changelog for each update on our Green Day TV Guide.
Nimrods Digital Release
Finally, if you missed out on seeing Nimrods in theatres, the film is now available to buy or rent digitally on platforms such as Amazon and Apple TV. Still no word yet on a subscription streaming release, but we'll keep you posted.
