Show notes

Setlist possibly incomplete

"Green Day played in a festival, which just before them was Garbage, the Welch band, and Velvet Revolver. For Green Day to do a good job they would have to have toped of the other two people before. It lasted two hours and they played American Idiot first as an entry. Billie Joe came in and played after that Mike Dirnt and the other apearred and started playing. In that song, Billie Joe does the extension he normally does. He was screamin 'Eh-O' and the crowd followed him crazy. They played Jesus of Suburbia after that, which is a hard song to play since it's nine minutes long, and has got different parts to remeber all the time. In the middle of the song Billie Joe puts his guitar down and starts hitting the crash symbol (which was the only part Tre had to play) wile that Tre Cool runs up in the front of the stage and starts dancing for a bit before he has to go back. They played Holiday, Are we the waiting, St. Jimmy which he dedicated to Joey Ramone. After those songs he started playing the classics; Basket Case, Longview, When I Come Around, Brain Stew, Nice Guys Finish Last and Welcome to Paradise [Editor's note: It seems very unlikely that When I Come Around, Nice Guys Finish Last, and Welcome to Paradise were actually played. Just one of these songs would be a rarity in 2005, let alone all three]. After those songs he introduced everyone in the band. Mike Dirnt, who he's been playing with for 16 years. Ever since he was 10. Jason White from little rock Arkansas. Tre Cool, who's real name is Frank, from Frankfurt Germany. Finally after inroducing the people in the band, they played King for a Day, when Billie Joe mooned every body. The song had gone crazy, because they have to get out the extra characters from backstage like the bee, and the other peeople who play the horns, and the sax. Then they continued with Minority with the extension in the middle where he starts talking to the crowd. They left the stage. A few minutes later Billie Joe comes back in an Encore chant by the crowd. He plays Time of Your Life, followed by Boulevard of Broked Dreams with the rest of the band. The song ended with confetti been thrown out of a huge cannon. It was everywere. That was the end of the concert. The crowd was going wild. It was a 75,000 people concert and every thing got crazy. I was in the first 100 people. Right in the front of the group. If you're not tall enough you can't see anything because the hands are blocking everything in your way. I had a moshpit start right in front of me, which suprisingly they didn't stop because on of the main rules in the concert was that you couldn't have a moshpit or else they wouldn't play. The concert was amazing."
