Show notes

GreenDaylove: "Okay, our paper said that Green Day is a family friendly band and ranks up there with the Wobbles and Teletubbies. I saw screw them. Green Day put on an amazing show, with many fire displays and confetti at the end. They played 6 songs off of their American Idiot album, opening with American Idiot. Throughout the show, they played Jesus of Suburbia, Holiday, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, St. Jimmy, and then Wake Me Up When September Ends, which had many people in tears.
They also played many, many older songs from their other albums, atleast one from each. Never to dissapoint, Billie Joe did his regular show during Hitchin' a Ride, getting a rise from the crowd as he stuck his hand down his pants and masturbated.
Billie Joe had the crowd under his very command, having them do the wave, cheer and stop on command, and had both sides of the stadium battling it out to see who was louder.
When they got three teenagers on stage to play Knowlege, Billie Joe kissed the boy picked for guitar. This was followed by an ass grab, and some dry humping delivered to our dear Billie. The teenagers did a great job, with all three members of Green Day dancing around the stage. When the song finished, the boy picked to play the guitar did a slide down the catwalk-style part of the stage, and got to keep the guitar. The teenage picked to play bass did a stage dive, and the drummer kept the drum sticks.
Green Day then proceeded to play the always present King For A Day, with Mike in his cat ears, Tre' in his pink feather hat, and Billie Joe in his king outfit. They finished the show, and came back for an encore. Finishing with Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life), confetti shot into the air.
The lights went off at the end of the song, only to flash back on to show Tre' throwing drumsticks into the crowd. People fought for the chance to touch something that the drum god had, and everyone left happy and on an adrenaline high.
The concert did not deserve the 3 stars our papers dubbed them, but should be seen as a 5 star show. It kicked ass!"
