Show notes
Setlist is incomplete/out of order
"At about 8:45 these huge sirens started going off. The crowd loved it, it really got us going. Then Tre and Mike ran on and everyone went nuts. About half a minute later Billie Joe ran onstage, picked up a guitar and they started with Nice Guys Finish Last. Everyone was going insane, it was so awesome. A few songs later, Billie Joe saw this kid that fell in the middle of the mosh pit, and he was getting hurt, so at the end of the song he said, 'Hey, if you're gonna be doing some sla, dancing and you see some one fall, help him up.' Then there was a huge surprise, he actually brought his wife. That was really cool seeing her. Billie said, 'Tonight's our 7 year anniversary,' and everyone cheered for him. Then he said, 'Yeah, but after the next song she's going back to California,' he said a in a pissed off voice, just as a joke. Everyone started to boo, just as a joke, too. He said, 'Fuck California, we're the Green Day that grew up in fuckin' Michigan!' The show ended with Tre setting fire to his drum set and Mike smashing his bass at the end of When I Come Around. But then he picked up the bass drum and one of the symbals (on which he burned his hand when he grabbed) and played Macy's Day Parade. It was a great show, except that the end was really staged, since there were people helping Green Day set up for the final song and then they helped put out the fire."
