Show notes
"Then lights went off and all of sudden Green Day ran out on stage. I was about fell to my knees! They opened with Going To Pasalacqua, my favorite. I was crying, trying to sing, getting trampled in the pit, jumping around like crazy all at the same time. I just couldn't handle it. I went to the back and gathered myself. Before I fainted, it wasn't the roughness of the crowd that freaked me out. I can handle just about any concert. It was the fact that Green Day was played right before my eyes! I ended up going back into the crowd. It was so entertaining. Tre was climbing on top of the speakers, Mike was being crazy, and Billie was just goofing off. Putting clothes on from the crowd, making them say things, just being a funny guy. We waited in the pouring rain where guys were gonna come out. Finally they opened the doors and I could see Mike standing in the door. Holy shit, I gotta get in! They're most likely all in there. So I walked up to the steps and the security guard told me I needed an ID to get in there. I guess I had to be 21 or something stupid like that. I said okay and hid behind the doors. Then it was like how it was meant to be. There's nobody here! Of course I walked in. I saw Mike being hounded by people so I was gonna wait to get his autograph. Then Tre walked by me. He wasn't really paying attention but he signed the poster I ripped off the wall. I love him. Then I tugged on Mike's jacket and asked him to sign. I was so shoked or else. I would've tried to have a conversation with him, but the only word I could say was, 'Thanks.' Then I turned around and Billie was right here! I called his name. And he turned around and said, 'Hey, how's it going?' I just stared at him. I couldn't believe my eyes! I was gonna ask him for a hug. The words almost came out of my mouth but then I realized I was speechless and paralyzed. So I ijust threw my arms around him! He smiled and signed my poster. He knew I couldn't speak because he did it with out me asking. I was stutering, trying to say something! I had been wanting to say so much to him for so long, my brain just got all scrambled and nothing came out of my mouth. Billie was trying to understand me but I just couldn't talk."
