Billie Joe Armstrong: "And it was a great feeling, because we ended up playing with the Ne'er Do Wells, and he [John Kiffmeyer] knew we were standing there watching. He was playing really hard, and trying to make it look like he was the man, and one thing you can not do to Tre Cool is to outdrum him. Especially if you are a mediocre drummer at best. One of the first songs we played was 'Longview', which is like a great drummer's song, and from that point on, it was like, 'Dude, you're so over.'"
