lammah: "Holy crap. I was at this show. Was a student at UC Berkeley at the time. Had no idea who they were and what was going on, I just happened to stumble into it. But I do remember Billie Joe with shock blue hair playing in the daytime out in the plaza. To date, it's been the only time I've seen them live."

ryebread: "In the Summer of 1992, some friends and I road-tripped out to the Bay Area where we wound up catching a couple of shows, one of them being Green Day playing an afternoon gig at UC Berkeley (the only time I ever saw 'em). In looking at the Green Day Authority website, it looks like this must've been the Lower Sproul Plaza show at UC Berkeley on August 29, 1992. When the set ended, we returned to our minivan to discover that someone had stolen the license plates. Incredibly, we managed to drive all the way back to Texas without getting pulled over. We also caught Nation of Ulysses at Epicenter Zone the same week. I recently found my negatives from this trip and was pleased to find these shots as I'd remembered taking pics but had no prints. These are the only photos of Green Day I snapped. I'm selling off the original 35mm negatives and will convey all copyright and publishing rights to the buyer. Any questions? Feel free to ask."
