Aaron Cometbus: "It reminded me of the most ridiculous rumor I've ever heard: at Green Day's show at the OK Hotel in Seattle, the band and their roadie Aaron Cometbus all had these buttons which said, 'Come back to the bus', and they each gave their button to the girl at the show who they wanted to make it with - what the fuck? It was a good story and all, and much more interesting than the boring truth, which was that before the show I'd dumpstered a few big bags of buttons, and we'd used markers to make them Blatz, Green Day and Cometbus buttons, then I'd tossed them out at the show. So I couldn't figure out that damn rumor at all until I remember that the buttons were small so I had to write it in two lines: 'Come tbus'. Get it, 'Come to bus?' Some people use their imagination in all the wrong places."
