gdtourvan1990: Wednesday July 11: North to Michigan. Along the way, while pulling out of a gas station, Mike thought he’d impress some girls with a spin of my tires, but instead he ended up burning my clutch. What the @#$%! Mike! Now, whenever we’re climbing a hill, my clutch begins to slip. My RPM’s go up and my speed goes down. This ain’t good, but at least we’re still in the flat part of the country. The show was at a skate park in Ferrysburg MI, possibly the William Ferry Park? But not the current Grand Haven Skate Park. That’s quite a traffic jam for western Michigan! The band played in the middle of a half pipe. Fun kids. After the show we drove to a beach on the north side of town and went for a late night swim in Lake Michigan."
